Friday 2nd May

• In association with the Greenman Festival a special "Flicks in the Sticks" showing at Clun Memorial Hall of "A Knight's Tale"  ... a medieval romp ...  promoted by ArtsAlive and Clun Memorial Hall.

Saturday 3rd May  

• Arthur Pendragon speaking on environmental concerns.
• Andy Harrop-Smith well known story teller, with seasonal tales.
• Damh the Bard well known folk music composer who will play two one hour sessions.
• Thomas Daffern (Green Global University) talking about alternative education and lifestyles,
• and others yet to be revealed
• Followed by some form of musical entertainment yet to be decided in the evening
• Dance for younger members of the community at Clun Memorial Hall
• Misericordia in performance at St George's Church supported by Small Blue Fish.  Performance starts 7.30 pm.  Entrance price £7 including a glass of wine.
• Dance at Clun Memorial Hall commencing 8 pm till 1 am.  £4 on the door. No under-16 year olds.  Music provided by Mystikal Productions (Dan Morris and Mark Richardson)

Sunday 4th May  

• At about 1.30pm a Mummers play will be performed in The Square, Clun.
• This will be followed by drumming and belly dancing workshops on the Castle Meadow.
• In the evening from 7.00pm there will be a performance of Richard Moult's Song Cycle based on the poems of Mary Webb       More info

Monday 5th May  

• Greenman Procession  Greenman with May Queen, Maypole, Morris Dancers, Stilt Walkers and entertainers process through the town at 12 noon.  See 'Frostie'  Queen of Cold challenge the Greenman.  If the Greenman doesn't see her off, then there is no Summer in the Clun Valley! 

• May Fair with crafts, stalls and entertainment on the castle site (permission of English Heritage)

• Knights in Armour  Display of medieval fighting techniques by the Plantagenet Society.

Entry to May Fair: £2 Adults, 50p Children
