Set in the heart of the village within easy reach of Ludlow and Shrewsbury, Clunbury is very much part of the Shropshire immortalised in A E Houseman's A Shropshire Lad.  Despite being not far from the increasingly busy township of Craven Arms, Clunbury nevertheless manages to keep its "quietest place under the sun" reputation.  From Clunbury Hill a breathtaking view of village and distant hills must stand as one of the best.  The  River Clun is enchanting with its overhanging willows and burbling waters.  There are many places of interest to visit in the area.
